After checking in on my “Bed #6” (I come up with THE most inventive names, don’t you think?!) the other day, I had to move aside the greenery to get the deer netting back into place. (Honestly I’m so happy to have something thriving at this point – even if I didn’t plant it – that I can’t bring myself to cut it*). And noticed we had a little toad visitor! The glorified puddle (my father calls it the “small pond”. Dude. It’s a really big puddle) is about 20 feet on the other side of this garden bed – I hope he made it home!
