YES! We used diapers for Amelia and Adriana, and they are the best invention - you just fold them differently as the kid grows - no need for different sized Pampers. And there are a million uses for worn out diapers, too. Note of caution: Be a smarter 30+ year-old than I was - BE SURE TO USE PLASTIC PANTS over top! I spent a couple weeks wondering why I was so soggy all the time!! :-)
One final reflection - to this day, I refer to a sunny, breezy low-humidity day as a Good Diaper Day.....
hahaha. I can only imagine how much of a pain that would have been! I'm not sure my mom used plastic covers, either...But we did get some. We shall see how it goes!
And don't you love how phrases like that just stick?

My sister will too!
Found out at XMAS lunch, my BIL was saying the prayer and said "and Dear Lord, please help BJ and I to be able to raise our new baby, AMEN"
Well mouths dropped and my sissy hollers "I'm 5 weeks pregnant"
the tears flowed
AWESOME! :-)
