Things are slowing down just the teensiest of bits. We're waiting on the power company to come in and bury our power lines and turn on the switch that will lead to great things....like running water! Lights that go on without a generator! Not having to remember to fill said generator! A refrigerator!
In the meantime I am still working on getting our glorious shed anchored so we pass our final inspection so the power company can flip the switch once said power lines are in place, and on getting the rest of the garden plot cleared. Since we decided that we weren't going to be able to get anything in the ground this winter, I figured I will finish clearing the entire area so that the whole big space can be plowed over by our lovely neighbors.
And I'm getting started on Christmas presents for this year. Woot.

Sounds good Caitwin. It's probably a good idea to let things just calm down and not burn out. Good on you for the christmas presents.... That's something I will have to address soon as well! ugh.
Good luck with the power!
Thanks banana. I'm getting lots of knitting done :) Too broke for anything else this year. It will be handmade and you WILL like it!
I decided yesterday that I must take up knitting as well. The cutest sweaters are multi-hundreds of dollars!! If only I could knit...
Looking forward to my hat :D (I don't own one cuz they're far too expensive, you see. Saw a simple knitted toque for $60 the other day!!)
Malia! It came out a bit big. You may have to give it to Matt. I will make you a new one...
